Every village needs a great pub, but Northend didn’t realise they needed a dog-friendly one…until now!
Nestled in the foothills of Burton Dassett a stones throw from the M40 and Gaydon, and not 20 minutes from Warwick and Leamington Spa The Lost Pug is also feeding the hearts and stomachs of Warwickshire.
So, anyone for local beer, all-day casual dining, and Sunday roasts, all served up in a sun-trap pub garden or cosy pub?

The Lost Pug is a village pub & kitchen serving up modern pub fare, but with the all-important Pug Pubs twist.
We’re famed throughout Warwickshire for our weeknight specials, from Pizza Monday, Buffalo Wing Tuesday, Burger Wednesday, Pie Thursday to Fizz Friday. A weekday name should ALWAYS have a food or drink attached to it, don’t you agree?
Our pizza oven keeps most people happy (especially on a Monday!), but if a bowl of Filthy Chips or a good old local pie is more your thing, then your luck is in too

A fixture for any visit to Burton Dassett Hills
Or at least, that’s what we’re told! Before Pug Pubs took hold of the reigns, The Lost Pug was The Red Lion - still a well known stop-off before or after a stroll around Burton Dassett Hills.
We took it over in 2024 after it had been closed for a couple of years and gave the pub its purpose back. Now - staying true to the building’s original character that served it so well - The Lost Pug is now a village pub for winter nights by the fireplace and summer evenings bathed in late sunsets
The Spaces
The Lost Pug is a village pub for many an occasion. The open comfy bar area and extended dining area look out onto a real sun-catcher of a garden
The Pub
Upright drinking, fireside Chesterfields, dog bowls, and proper tables to sit and read the paper at (or probably your iPad these days!). Our pub still holds that village pub atmosphere, even with a few modern touches.
